Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori will meet in the middleweight title bout at the upcoming UFC 263 this Saturday. Izzy is coming into this event as one of the most dominant fighters in the UFC, while Vettori aims to break that and take the title.
Israel Adesanya -270
The Last Stylebender tried to dethrone Jan Blachowicz and take over the light heavyweight division, but that appeared to be too big of a challenge for him. Even though he wasn’t beaten severely, a decision defeat ruined his perfect record, which is now 18-1.
We don’t need to tell you too much about this guy. His athleticism and incredible reflexes are something never seen before in the organization. Paulo Costa, Robert Whittaker, Derek Brunson, and many more experienced his power and speed.
Vettori was one of them as well, but the Italian was maybe the only guy who would cause troubles to Izzy. We aren’t going to go into details, but that split decision victory for Adesanya was a bit controversial.
Marvin Vettori +230
That defeat from a couple of years ago was something that fueled the Italian. It was his motive to become better, which he eventually did. The Italian Dream has posted five wins in a row ever since, defeating Karl Roberson, Jack Hermansson, and Kevin Holland, among others.
Incredibly stubborn and strong fighters who can ear as many punches as you want but won’t go down. It is not only about his chin and superb absorbing power, but also a pretty weird personality.
This is maybe the most aggressive guy in the division, who looks pretty scary. Vettori will go forward throwing punches at all cost, and eventually, will manage to hit you. He improved his already solid grappling skills, which is something we might expect to see against Adesanya because that was something Vettori used in the first meeting.
Adesanya vs Vettori Pick
We know that Izzy is the favorite, a big one, but betting on him won’t be the suggestion here. Instead, after deep thinking and analysis, the final recommendation would be to put some money on the fight going to the distance. The odds on that are -120 at the moment, which is great. Both these guys often end their respective matches in this manner, so why wouldn’t that be the case on Saturday.
Fight to go to distance -120
