Garcia’s (21-0, 18 KOs) left hook to the body delivered the fatal blow for Campbell (20-4, 16 KOs), who didn’t have any chance to get up following that hit. It seems that working with Canelo Alvarez, who came to the ring after the match, works well for the youngster.

However, the inevitable came in the seventh round, with Campbell suffering the first stoppage loss since becoming a pro.
Garcia preserved his perfect record and is now aiming for bigger challenges. After the fight, he expressed a wish to meet the fellow American Gervonta Davis, the 26-year old who is unbeaten as well with a record of 24 wins, all but one coming via knockout.
