Milwaukee quickly used the fact that Trae Young struggles with injury, breaking the hosts in the last period 30-17, and snatching a win.

Young rolled his ankle once stepping on the official’s foot, drastically decreasing his productivity and impact on the floor. He had 35 points in this match, but only 3 after the injury, and that was behind the arch. Atlanta’s playmaker was in severe pain, unable to be near his usual level of play.

Losing Game 3 isn’t such a big problem compared to the remaining part of the series. If Trae’s injury turns out to be serious, the Hawks will face many issues, as he is their heart and soul. On the other side, this would be a gift from heaven for the Bucks, who instantly reacted following his injury.

Khris Middleton took over in the final 12 minutes, dropping 20 points in that sequence alone. The All-Star forward ended the night with 38 buckets, having 11 boards and seven assists, while also drilling six long-distance shots. In all the games in which he played well, the Bucks were winning.

Meanwhile, Giannis was at his usual level, with 33 points and 11 rebounds, and the one player who surprised was Bobby Portis with 15 points in 17 minutes off the bench. Jrue Holiday had 12 assists with six buckets.

In Atlanta, Apart from Young, there weren’t many players with notable productivity. Danilo Gallinari had 18 points off the bench, and he was the second scorer in this match. John Collins had 13 with 8 boards, while Clint Capela scored eight and had 11 rebounds.

These two couldn’t restrain the rivals this time, and the Bucks had 15 boards more than the rivals, 50-35, which was one of the biggest reasons for their win.

Kevin Huerter scored 11 points, while Bogdan Bogdanovic added 8, for yet another pale display of the Serbian sharpshooter. Bogi was 2-for-10 from three-point territory, and his lack of accuracy is something that greatly disturbs the Hawks’ offense. Lou Williams couldn’t help as well, as he scored only five points in 18 minutes.

Game 4 is set for Tuesday, and until then, the biggest concern for the Hawks will be Young’s condition. The flamboyant point guard is undergoing an MRI on Monday morning.
