Minnesota United have reached the Western Conference MLS Cup playoffs finals. They would defeat Sporting Kansas City, the first-seeded team in the West with 0-3, displaying one superb performance, especially in the offensive aspect of play.

Two players were in the middle of attention, Emanuel Reynoso and Kevin Molino. The first one recorded three assists, delivering an excellent display of playmaking skills in the midfield, while Molino showed his killer instinct.
The 30-year old from Trinidad and Tobago struck twice, inside seven minutes, stunning the hosts who weren’t able to recover after such a massive shock.
Molino’s first goal came after 29 minutes, with him and Reynoso connecting. The latter saw him rushing behind the defense’s back, sending a lob pass that fell right to his leg. It wasn’t hard for Molino to make an acrobatic kick and bet Tim Melia.
The same duo provided a 2-0 lead for the visiting team seven minutes after that goal, who was looking very calm, without any euphoria. Yet, that wasn’t the end.
With the stopwatch running through the 39th minute, United added another goal. Reynoso found Bakaye Dibassy, whose header ended inside Sporting KC’s net. Everything was pretty much over following his score.

This comes as a massive disappointment for SKC, who wasn’t only a favorite coming into Thursday’s clash but also wasted a couple of excellent opportunities early on. If it weren’t for Michael Boxall’s fantastic reaction and a last-moment clearance in the second minute, the home team would reach a lead early on, and the entire contest would head in the opposite direction.
Until the first goal, SKC had a couple of solid situations from which they might have scored, yet they couldn’t execute a single one.
