Cleveland Browns won Thursday Night Football clash against the Cincinnati Bengals, reaching their first triumph of the season. The running back duo Chubb-Hunt led the Browns tonight and were the two of the most significant pieces in the 35-30 victory.
Cleveland’s running game yielded 215 yards, compared to just 68 of the guests, who relied upon Joe Burrow, in some times more than the young QB could handle.
Both Chubb and Hunt scored two touchdowns each, presenting a driving force for their team in this clash. Chubb rushed for 124 yards on 22 carries and both his scores came on the ground. With Hunt, things were a little bit different, as he got one running and one receiving TD.
The former Kansas City Chiefs’ RB, who had some problems with his off-field behavior in the past, rushed 10 times for 86 yards and had two receptions for 15 yards. Browns’ backfield bombs were dominant throughout the entire match, solving all the problems in critical situations and moving the chains when needed the most.
Baker Mayfield was solid but again threw an interception, extending his negative streak to 8 consecutive matches with being picked at least once. The former No.1 pick had 219 yards through the air, two TDs, to Hunt and Odell Beckham Jr.
That TD pass to OBJ was for 43-yards and was the opening score of the night for the hosts. Beckham ended the game with four receptions for 74 yards, Jarvis Landy had 46 in three catches, and Khadarel Hodge added 39 in two.
Joe Burrow had 61 passing attempts, the second-most for the rookie in history of the game. He had three TD passes, one fumble losing the football at the one-yard line at Bengals’ side.

Eventually, Burrow ended the night with 37 completions for 316 yards but was sacked three times for 31 negative yards. His offensive line was not good in protecting the first pick from this draft, and he often had to scramble to save his skin.
Joe Mixon had just 46 rushing yards win 16 carries. Tyler Boyd had a TD catch and 72 yards on seven receptions. CJ Uzomah four for 42 and a TD, while Micke Thomas also put his name in the TD column.
Up next, the Bengals head to Philadelphia to meet the eagles before coming back home to face the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Browns await the Washington Football Team at home and then go to Arlington to face the Dallas Cowboys.
