Those who watched the game had a chance to see the purple and gold coming back from a 12-point deficit at halftime, and limiting the Nuggets to just 35 points in the last two periods. Meanwhile, the LAL finished the third sequence on a 15-0 run, which was the moment once they finally broke Nuggets’ resistance taking over the game under their control.

After that push, the LAL easily finished the game, pounding the demoralized Denver, whose players were looking pretty bad.
The guy who started the Lakers’ comeback was Talen Horton-Tucker, as he had 12 of his 17 buckets in the second half, having a stretch of his own in which he scored 8 consecutive points, not missing a single shot. Meanwhile, Horton-Tucker was excellent in defense, making stops and putting additional pressure on the direct rivals.
Apart from the 20-year old, LeBron James was exceptional, posting his second triple-double of the year. He scored points with 10 boards and assists, and also reached a huge milestone. After tonight’s performance, LBJ moved past Wilt Chamberlain to take the No.3 on the all-time field goal made list.
Dennis Schroder had a superb sequence dropping 21 points, shooting 7-for-9 from the field, and adding four assists. Anthony Davis scored 13 points and nine boards with three steals and two blocks. Montrezl Harrell scored 13, and Kyle Kuzma 11, both off the bench.
Jamal Murray scored 20 for the guests, with 5 assists and turnovers. JaMycahl Green had 14 and 8 rebounds, and Monte Morris dropped 16 coming off the bench.
Nikola Jokic had 13 points and 10 rebounds, but was again experiencing odd foul criteria, earning two quick fouls in just 16 seconds early on in the second half.

The Lakers shot 56.8% from the field, while Denver had 39.1%, which was, in the end, another reason why LAL managed to flip the game and post a triumph.
They are now 17-6, and play the next four events at home. The champs meet the Pistons, who beat them recently, on Saturday, then the Oklahoma City Thunder in back-to-back matches, before hosting the Memphis Grizzlies.
-->As for the Nuggets, who are 12-9, their next stop is Sacramento, where they face the Kings already tomorrow. Jokic and the boys come back home after that for a four-match homestand.
