The Los Angeles Lakers and the Milwaukee Bucks won their scrimmage matches this Saturday afternoon, beating Orlando Magic and the Sacramento Kings, respectively.

Leading teams in their assemblies had solid performances against the teams who are fighting for the playoffs in the opposite conferences.

Lakers defeated Orlando Magic, the team who came out victorious from their clash in Staples. It was 119-112 for the purple and gold tonight, but the win here is in the second plan because of Anthony Davis’ injury.

One of the most dominant players in the league was poked in the eye, and after suffering the injury, he didn’t come back on the court. He scored 9 points and had 10 boards for a little bit under 10 minutes on the floor.

The Lakers blew out Magic in the first period 35-19, setting the tone and the tempo, not allowing the “hosts” to feel comfortable at all. Though, Orlando responded in the third period, pouring 40 points and allowing 29, but eventually, there was no problem for Frank Vogel’s side to take this one.

Kyle Kuzma scored 25 points with seven boards, shooting 10-for-13 from the field, LeBron had 20 with seven dimes. Caldwell-Pope added 17.

On the other side, DJ Augustin was the top scorer among the Magic with 21 points, Carter-Williams had 15 and 8 boards, while Vucevic added 10 and 6 rebounds.

Lakers meet Washington Wizards on July 27 in their next test, while Orlando faces Nikola Jokic and his Denver Nuggets on the same day.

In the other match, the league-leading Bucks defeated Sacramento Kings. 131-123. The crucial part of the contest was the second quarter once Milwaukee created a big lead, winning this sequence 42-27.

Until the end of the game, Bucks held their advantage pretty confidently, even though Mike Budenholzer gave various players a chance.

Kyle Korver scored 22 points and had a game-high, adding six rebounds. Brook Lopes had one fewer, while Giannis posted excellent numbers in just 16 minutes. The reigning MVP recorded 15 points, 9 boards, and 6 assists.

Among the Kings, Buddy Hield dropped 19, Kent Bazemore 16 with 8 rebounds, and Bogdan Bogdanovic contributed with 13.

Kings are going to clash with the LA Clippers on Monday, and the Bucks await Zion and his Pelicans.
