Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad are the main characters of the next UFC Fight Night. The two welterweight guys are motivated to put up one good fight and provide themselves some benefits regarding the position in the division. Edwards is in contention for the title match for a long time, but he hasn’t been picked to meet any of the top faces. He’s been away for a while, and many fans are eager to see his current condition. Muhammad is trying to get past the “gatekeeper” label, and even though his record has been quite solid, he is still a middle-class fighter.

Rocky, as the fans call him, is a massive favorite here. The fighter from England is versatile and knows how to handle opponents regardless of their skills. Edwards is solid in all the fighting areas, whether it is wrestling, grappling, or stand-up.

His last fight was 20 months ago, once he defeated Rafael dos Anjos after a unanimous decision. That was the main event of the night, and Rocky once again went to the distance.

So far, he has 18 wins, nine of them by decision, three by submission and six following a KO. Edwards’ previous three victories were all following a decision against dos Anjos, Gunnar Nelson, and Donald Cerrone.

He is a very clever and tough opponent who has excellent stamina. Edwards’ mental power is enormous, with him not backing down regardless of the rival across the octagon.

Belal Muhammad +210

The Palestinian had four wins in a row, but he still didn’t get the credit he deserves. In less than a year, he would beat Curtis Millender, Takashi Sato, Lyman Good, and Dhiego Lima, yet the MMA community still sees him as an average fighter.

It seems that the match against Edwards is the best possible way for him to prove them wrong. Muhammad had two chances for breaking into the top echelon of the UFC welterweight division, but he lost on both occasions.

The first time it was Vicente Luque who defeated him after a KO, and the second time it was Geoff Neal via unanimous decision.

Muhammad is the guy who likes to wrestle and who takes the battle to the ground. Believe it or not, the has 13 wins by a decision, and five via all other methods, which tells a lot.

Edwards has more quality and not just that, but he has a much diverse skillset. The Brit knows how to fight in all the situations, whether it is wrestling, boxing, or something else. Edwards’s overall power is at a much higher level as well, and Rocky’s win shouldn’t be questionable here.
