The Citizens have 15 straight triumphs in all English competitions, surpassing the previous one set by Preston in 1891-92 and Arsenal in 1987-88. This comes in the moments when the title race in the EPL is at its breaking point, and judging by the way things develop at the moment, it seems that Guardiola’s machinery will once again snatch the silverware.

This is a marvelous achievement having in mind the quality concentrated in England, especially in the Premiership. City was under the radar for quite some time, but at one point, they would just shift into a higher gear and rush past the competition.

An especially impressive performance was against Liverpool this Sunday, once Citizens rolled over the champions, inflicting them one of the t toughest losses at Anfield since Jurgen Klopp sat on the Reds’ bench, 1-4.

A goal conceded then was just one of five during this victorious streak, while on the other side, the Sky-Blues scored 40. What adds more significance to this matter, is the fact that their best striker, Sergio Aguero, didn’t play in any of those matches, and that recently, Kevin De Bruyne picked up an injury that separated him from the field for at least one month.

But even with such handicaps, Manchester City was unstoppable. Their game is perfect, with all the players perfectly playing their roles. Each week there is someone else who comes out in the first plan.

As for tonight’s match, City scored through Kyle Walker, Raheem Sterling, and Gabriel Jesus. The team from Etihad Stadium had no trouble of eliminating the Swans, who did net a goal, and saved their honor.

This weekend City has a big challenge coming, up as they face the wounded Tottenham, and after that play a postponed match against Everton. They are currently first in the EPL with 50 points, five more than the second-placed Manchester United, but with a game in hand. Leicester City is third with 43 points and Liverpool fourth, ten steps behind the Citizens.
