Brown was there in the clutch moments, scoring four points in the final minute of the event, rebuffing the purple and gold’s surge that saw them creating a 26-4 series, practically erasing the Cs 27-point lead.

With 8:13 to go, the guests from Massachusets were up 111-84, yet with 78 seconds to go, the Lakers came down to 115-110 with Ben McLemore dunking. Brown took matters in his hands following that, securing the fifth consecutive win for his team, 30th in the season.

The 24-year old had only three misses in 20 field-goal attempts, hitting 13 of the first 14 shots. He ended up with 40 buckets, nine boards, and three assists, having a =/- ratio of +36.

His Celtics had the lead right from the start until the very end, but often allowing the Lakers to come back in the moments when they looked broken. One such could have been fatal for Brad Steven’s side, but fortunately, Brown was there to prevent it.

Payton Pritchard added 15 points of the bench for the Celtics, playing 20 minutes, securing seven rebounds, and having three assists. Marcus Smart scored 15 with six boards and four dimes, while Jayson Tatum and Tristan Thompson delivered 14 buckets each.

On the other side, the Lakers were heavily handicapped because they couldn’t count on LeBron, Anthony Davis, and Andre Drummond, who had issues with his toe.

Talen Horton-Tucker recorded a team-high with 19 points while also having seven assists and six rebounds. Ben Mclemore played 23 minutes producing 17 points, and Montrezl Harrell had 12. All these guys came off the bench. When talking about the starters, Marc Gasol shined with 18 points; Kyle Kuzma scored 13.

A very good news for the hosts emerged before the match, as Anthony Davis received a green light from the medical staff to return to full-court activities. The Eyebrow might be back to the lineup in a few days, and that would be a significant boost for the Lakers.
