Chris Paul was masterful while leading his team to a win in Game 4, 125-118, and sending a clear message that his time wants to go all the way.

The veteran point guard scored 37 points last, being close to perfect. Paul made 14 of his 19 shots from the field, adding seven assists and two steals in 40 minutes played. He was shredding the Nuggets’ defense right from the start, keeping the Suns up throughout the entire match. Eventually, they had no trouble in sealing a dominant sweep over the third seed in the West.

Though, Phoenix had a little help coming from the referees, who tossed out Nikola Jokic following a flagrant foul in the fourth period. The majority of the experts agree that the foul Jokic committed wasn’t tough enough for ejection, but the officials had a different opinion. That is something that decreased Denver’s chances of coming back in the end.

The Joker had 22 points, 11 boards, and four assists in 28 on the floor, and his absence, in the end, created a massive blank in the Nuggets’ game.

Michael Porter Jr. scored 20 buckets shooting 7-for-16, and grabbing four boards, while Will Barton added 25 points and five rebounds. Monte Morris scored 19 buckets, and Campazzo 14 off the bench.

On the other side, Booker dropped 34 having 11 rebounds and four assists, while Mikal Bridges ended the night with 14, two more than Deandre Ayton, who also had seven rebounds.

The Suns were once again excellent while shooting from the free-throw line, missing only two of their 31 attempts. It is without a doubt their biggest strength in the intense moments because they have no mistake in such cases. Monty Williams’s unit also limited Denver to just 37 rebounds, having 48 themselves and winning another aerial battle.

They are now awaiting the better from the Utah Jazz vs. LA Clippers matchup.

As for the Nuggets, they are ahead of one very important summer, where they need to find proper support for Jokic and Murray. Several players have their player options, and a few more are tied until the end of the next year, meaning that the management needs to sort out some things very fast. Otherwise, this talented generation might go to waste without achieving anything great.
