With just one second left on the clock, Clayton Keller tied the game, forcing the overtime and handing a chance to his team to win the third straight event over the former champions. That eventually happened.
A massive drama was seen at the Enterprise Center, with Keller in the middle of it. The 22-year old received a two-minute penalty with 2:25 before the end, leaving his team with a player fewer on the ice while being behind the rivals one goal. But the situation changed, with 1:29 to go, one Jaden Schwartz too had to leave the ice, due to high sticking.

When Keller returned to the ice, Coyotes went all in, and that eventually paid off. The guests pulled an extra attacker, leaving the net empty, bringing them two players, more in the attack. Christian Dvorak’s behind-the-back assist to Keller was the key moment of the stretch.
The same player scored the game-winner in the shootout, sealing the win with nice individual stats, one goal and assist, plus the SO score for the triumph.
Coyotes’ goalie Darcy Kumper needs to be mentioned. He had 40 saves, 16 of them in the middle frame, when Arizona survived nasty attacks and managed to stay in the game with Dvorak’s power-play goal.
The hosts had a lead three times tonight. Ryan O’Reilly scored two goals, one in the first and one in the last period, with the note that the opening hit came during a power-play situation. The middle sequence saw David Perron hitting the back of the net following O’Rilley’s assist.
Buffalo Bills' Domination Over New England Patriots in Foxborough, 38-9
The 2019 NHL champions lost three matches in a row, all of them at home, and all of them against the Coyotes, against whom they met on four occasions since February 3. The series started with the Blues defeating the franchise from Glendale, 4-3, but ended terribly for Craig Berube’s unit. They top the Western Conference with 7-4-2, and four games more than the Vegas Golden Knight, who are behind just one point.
As for the Coyotes, they now have four wins in the past five contests. Overall, Rick Tocchet’s side is 6-5-1. Their next matches with Colodaro Avalanche are postponed, the same as Blues’ against the Minnesota Wild.
