The 20-year old was involved in five goals, scoring two and assisting with three, indicating that he could be another great prospect.

DC United’s star, Paul Arriola, scored the next two goals in the 22nd and the 41st minute, with both of them being set up by Ferreira, who apparently found an excellent connection with the 26-year old.
The Americans didn’t slow down in the second half, but continued to pound the guests. Miles Robinson put his name on the scoresheet seven minutes in the second half, posting his first international hit.
Lewis notched his second of the night in the 55th minute. He would storm down the left side before entering the box and firing a blast that left the T&T goalkeeper helpless.
Ferreira put an end to the game in the 62nd minute, scoring his second goal and definitely grabbing the man of the match honors.
Trinidad had a chance to go home with at least one score, but they managed to miss the penalty three minutes following Ferreira’s goal. USA’s goalkeeper Matt Turner denied Alvin Jones’ shot, making his performance notable as well.
Berhalter didn’t have internationals at their disposal, but used only the players from the MLS. His work on finding the potential candidates for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers continue, and since he sat on the bench, 40 players debuted for the USMNT.

Trinidad, on the other side, also appeared with players from the domestic championship, and the reason for this is the fact that the match was played outside the usual international break.
