Tottenham Hotspurs did the unthinkable. After 45 minutes in Amsterdam, the Spurs were down 2-0, and needed to win at the end of the match.
Nobody saw them coming back in the second half; nobody could predict what happened tonight.
Fantastic Lucas Moura scored a hat-trick, netting the game-winner in the last second of the injury time, and pushing his team to the first Champions League finals. Tottenham won 3-2.
At that moment, the entire Amsterdam Arena just suffered a massive shock. The majority of fans couldn’t believe that their favorites got knocked out. Meanwhile, the minority of English spectators were in heaven.

Ajax was with one leg already in Madrid after Matthijs De Ligt, and Hakim Ziyech scored and pushed the Lancers to a 2-0 lead.
After seven minutes of play, De Ligt beat Lloris with a header following a corner kick taken by Dusan Tadic.
Ten minutes before the end of the halftime, Tadic assisted to Ziyech who smashed the ball from inside the box, and into the far angle of Lloris’ net.
Ajax had several more chances in the meantime and could create a more significant lead.
Things changed in the second sequence, and the visitors from London became more aggressive and offensive.
The Brazilian international, Lucas Moura struck twice in the span of four minutes. The first goal was after Delle Ali’s assist. The second after chaos in the goalkeeper area and a huge mistake of Lase Schone who didn’t make a clearance, losing the ball in front of his own goal.
Before that, Onana saved Llorente’s strike from some seven feet.
The hosts woke up, and tried to score, but luck didn’t happen to be in their side. Ziyech’s shot ended on the post, and several counter-attacks failed to provide any results.

In the fifth minute of the injury time, a long pass reached Dele Alli who found Moura rushing in the box. The Brazilian elegantly sent the ball past Onana and sealed one of the most sensational episodes ever seen in the Champions League.
English Premier League will have both representatives in the finals, and they will have a chance to give all four European finalists if Arsenal and Chelsea advance to the finals of the Europa League.
